Dear Sir,

AIR RAIDS. 4TH DECEMB R - 8TH DECEMBAN.

In continuation of my report No. 9081/A. T. dated

6th instant, I beg to report further damage to the kailway

through aerial attack by enemy planes, as follows :

4TH DECEMBisk.

TIN TONG GAI - PING WU. At about 18.00 hours

enemy planes dropped 2 bombs between Km. 180/5 and km. 120/6,

damaging 2 pairs of rail, 9 sleepers and all the telegraph

wires.

Repairs were immediately carried out.

8TH DEC MESA.

TIN TONG WAI - PING WU. At about 8.40 hours 2 enemy

planes attacked the Railway and dropped 4 bombe at Km. 180/4 and Km. 180/5. No damage was done to the ailway.

LUM TRUE. At about 15 90 hours the Railway was again

attacked by 8 enemy planes when 3 bombs were dropped between Km. 108/9 and Km. 108/5, but without any damage to the

kailway.

6TH DECEMBER.

LUM TSUN. At about 9.00 hours 8 enemy planes raided

the Railway. 7 bombs were dropped at Km. 108/11 damaging 11 rails and 20 sleepers.

Repairs were immediately carried out.

TIN TONG VAI - PINGU. At about 14.00 hours the

railway waa again raided by 2 enemy planes when 5 bomba were

dropped at Km. 180/1, 180/3, 190/18, 180/15 and 138/14, with

the result that a 6 ft. Culvert (No. 184 at Km. 181. 161) was

damaged.

Repair work was immediately put in hand.
